UAE PropTech Sector Poised for Major Growth

The UAE’s rapidly advancing property technology sector is set for significant growth as digital transformation reshapes the real estate landscape.

With technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, virtual reality (VR), and the Internet of Things (IoT), PropTech is becoming central to the UAE’s goal of leading global innovation in smart urban living.

According to Research and Markets, the UAE’s PropTech industry, valued at Dh2.24 billion in 2024, is expected to leap to Dh5.69 billion by 2030, growing at a compound annual rate of 17.49%. This growth is driven by rising demand for data-driven property management, digital transactions, and immersive visualization tools that enhance accuracy and transparency while reducing costs and delivery times.

Industry experts highlight that PropTech is now a transformative force reshaping the entire real estate value chain, from planning and construction to sales and management. “Technologies like Virtual Reality and AI-driven analytics are redefining real estate transactions in the UAE,” said Georges Calas, CEO of Lifesize Plans Dubai.

Lifesize Plans, which entered the UAE market in 2023, allows stakeholders to walk through life-sized projections of architectural designs before construction, offering an immersive experience that minimizes design errors and speeds up decision-making, crucial for quick project execution.

The adoption of VR and AR in construction and design is growing as developers seek efficiency and increased client engagement. This technology’s ability to visualize complex designs before construction is revolutionizing project management, attracting foreign investors to the UAE’s advanced PropTech ecosystem.

The PropTech momentum aligns with the UAE’s booming real estate market, which is achieving record performance. In Dubai, property transactions exceeded Dh455 billion in the first half of 2025, demonstrating strong demand for digital platforms and blockchain technology in property transactions.

Analysts note a surge in venture capital and corporate investments in UAE PropTech startups. GlobalData reports a fivefold increase in PropTech funding in the Middle East since 2020, with the UAE receiving nearly 60% of the regional investment. Initiatives like Dubai’s Paperless Strategy and Abu Dhabi’s Hub71 are accelerating this growth.

Jayakrishnan Bhaskar, director at Ozon Marketing, stated that with its strong digital innovation and policy support, the UAE is “on track to triple its PropTech market value by 2030 and enhance its status as a leading smart real estate hub.”

Major developers such as Emaar, Aldar, and Sobha Realty are integrating PropTech solutions for better customer experiences, from AI-powered recommendations to digital mortgage processing. PropTech firms like Bayut, Property Finder, and SmartCrowd are expanding with real-time data analytics and fractional ownership platforms.

Observers believe the UAE’s dedication to smart urban development, aligned with the “We the UAE 2031” vision, ensures the PropTech sector remains vital to economic diversification and innovation. As global interest in UAE real estate grows, technology will be key to maintaining competitiveness and investor trust.
