The UAE Government has introduced the Unified UAE Numbers, an advanced national platform powered by AI for data and statistics. This initiative aims to deliver precise and real-time data to bolster decision-making and prepare the UAE for future developments. The launch was announced at the UAE Government Annual Meetings 2025.
The platform is a collaborative effort between the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Center (FCSC) and the Ministry of Foreign Trade, working in coordination with federal and local bodies. It will be hosted on the UAE Government Federal Network (FedNet) to ensure top-level security.
This initiative stems from the Economic Data Retreat, where discussions centered on enhancing the national statistics system, governance, and data exchange among entities. The platform will establish a smart, unified national ecosystem to improve the quality and reliability of national data, facilitating the UAE’s shift to smart statistics.

Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade, stated, “Today marks our shift from data collection to knowledge management, transitioning from traditional to smart statistics. The Unified UAE Numbers platform embodies this strategic transformation, offering decision-makers new opportunities to leverage data for development, economic competitiveness, and enhancing the UAE’s global standing.”
Al Zeyoudi further noted, “This platform reflects the maturity of the UAE’s statistics ecosystem, now capable of providing accurate, trusted, and real-time data to interpret economic trends and guide policy and investment decisions. It will ultimately boost the UAE’s capacity to adapt to global changes and shape the future of key sectors.”
Maryam bint Ahmed Al Hammadi, Minister of State, General Secretary of the UAE Cabinet, and General Supervisor of the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre (FCSC), remarked, “The launch of the Unified UAE Numbers platform embodies our leadership’s vision for a future government led by data and AI. This platform signifies a significant step in the government’s digital transformation, promoting a unified approach and empowering entities to make fast, informed decisions based on trusted, real-time data.”
Al Hammadi added, “By developing a smart national statistics infrastructure, we are laying the groundwork to inform public policy, enhance the UAE’s competitiveness, and drive economic growth across all sectors.”
She emphasized that the platform is a result of the Economic Data Retreat, which involved 28 national entities in its first phase to establish 380 economic indicators and create a unified framework for GDP data, as well as balance of payment and investment.
She highlighted the crucial role of data in policy formulation, priority setting, impact measurement, and performance monitoring, noting that this platform ultimately ensures data-driven governance, strengthening the UAE’s readiness for AI integration, achieving seamless national database integration, and fostering a regulatory environment that champions innovation and sustainability.
