The WelCon Marketplace, managed by the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), has unveiled its yearly Virtual Business Consultation program, linking Korean content firms with global buyers, distributors, and investors via an online platform.
Scheduled from October 20 to November 21, 2025, this initiative gathers 87 Korean content companies from diverse sectors such as animation, broadcasting, character licensing, games, webtoons, and cutting-edge technologies.
The consultations aim to nurture co-production, investment, and distribution partnerships between Korea’s creative industries and global markets.
KOCCA states that the program offers a structured chance for international businesses to forge partnerships with Korean companies without geographical or time zone barriers. Meetings are organized virtually through the WelCon Marketplace platform, serving as a central hub for Korea’s creative content industry.
A KOCCA spokesperson remarked: “The global appetite for K-content is continually growing. Through these consultations, we strive to enhance collaboration in co-production and localization, while creating new avenues for distribution and investment.”
Beyond business matchmaking, the WelCon Marketplace platform provides insights into market trends, industry interviews, and updates on global events related to K-content. This consultation program stands as one of KOCCA’s most practical initiatives to boost international cooperation in the content sector.
