In an interview with ‘Sputnik’ radio, Al-Hadhari explained that ‘Israel was once again surprised by the Yemeni military capabilities. The Yemeni air defense systems intercepted Israeli aircraft and prevented them from striking civilian targets in Sana’a and other provinces, forcing them to drop their payloads on the outskirts of Yemen, specifically the port of Hodeidah.’

Al-Hadhari continued, ‘We have never heard that Israel targeted a military warehouse in Yemen; instead, it resorts to striking oil materials to demonstrate media superiority and send messages to the Israeli public.’

Regarding the internal situation, Al-Hadhari pointed out that the blockade on Yemen is not new, and the economic situation is ‘painful.’ Nevertheless, ‘the number of Yemenis supporting the Palestinian cause is increasing.’

Earlier today, the Israeli army announced that it targeted military infrastructure at the port of Hodeidah in Yemen. The Israeli army spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, wrote: ‘The defense forces continue to attack military infrastructure used by the Houthi regime in Yemen. The defense forces recently launched raids targeting military infrastructure of the Houthi regime at the port of Hodeidah in Yemen.’

The military spokesperson for the group, Yahya Sari, stated in a ‘Telegram’ post: ‘Our air defenses are currently confronting the Israeli aircraft conducting aggression on our country.’ He continued: ‘The air defenses caused significant confusion to the enemy aircraft and forced some of their combat formations to leave the airspace before executing their aggression, and their entry into the depths was thwarted.’
