In its message, the authority stated, “The Yemeni forces remain steadfast in their pledge and promise to stand with you no matter the sacrifices,” adding that “if the enemy resumes its aggression on Gaza, we will return to our military operations.” Recently, the Yemeni group “Ansar Allah” responded to statements by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. A political bureau member of “Ansar Allah,” Mohammed Al-Farah, said, “We have practical options to turn every hostile step into a political, economic, and strategic burden for Israel,” noting that “the Zionist threats against Yemen are merely a cover to justify aggressive policies that do not erase the history of assaults,” according to Yemen’s Al-Masirah channel.

Al-Farah added, “We clearly affirm that those who wager on intimidation will find us responding in kind and on all levels,” continuing, “We understand the Zionists’ aims to impose a single pole in the region and subjugate anyone who opposes exploitation.” The leader of Ansar Allah, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, announced that his forces have launched and targeted 228 ships linked to or heading towards their ports since late 2023, in response to the Israeli war in the Gaza Strip.

The “Ansar Allah” group has controlled most of the provinces in central and northern Yemen, including the capital, Sana’a, since September 2014. Meanwhile, the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia launched a military operation in March 2015 to support the Yemeni army in an attempt to regain those areas.
