This was stated by the Yemeni Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism, Muammar, through his account on the “X” platform. He pointed out that the 2025 Yemen expert team report reaffirmed the extent of systematic oppressive practices committed by the Houthi militia, the most dangerous Iranian arm in the region, against citizens in areas under its control. It also highlighted the imminent threat they pose to the security and stability of Yemen, as well as regional and international peace and security, according to him.

Eryani confirmed that the report “documents a series of violations and crimes committed by the Houthi militia against the Yemeni people, which are no longer hidden from anyone, and reveals a wide aspect of the network of oppression, looting, and terrorism managed by the Houthis with direct support from the Iranian regime,” as he claimed.

The report also highlighted, according to Eryani, the “continued flow of Iranian weapons through maritime smuggling routes and the development of their military capabilities to threaten international shipping lines in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, as part of an Iranian plan aimed at undermining regional security and blackmailing the international community.”

Eryani affirmed that what is included in the report “proves the accuracy and correctness of the repeated warnings from the legitimate government regarding the dangers of the Houthi militia and its destructive project.”

The ” ” group has controlled most provinces in central and northern Yemen, including the capital, Sana’a, since September 2014. Meanwhile, the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia launched a military operation in March 2015 to support the Yemeni army in an attempt to reclaim those areas.
