Young Talent Ngomouha Shines at Liverpool

The 16-year-old winger, who moved from Chelsea’s academy last year, has become the talk of the fans after his stunning performance. This has led some to compare him to Mohamed Salah, who shone after leaving the ‘Blues’, according to global sports websites.

Despite Chelsea spending over 250 million pounds on new signings this summer, Ngomouha stole the spotlight during Liverpool’s pre-season camp. The young player scored a remarkable goal against Athletic Bilbao, receiving the ball from midfield, boldly advancing, dribbling past defenders, and launching a rocket shot from outside the penalty area into the net.

He previously shined by scoring a goal against Yokohama and providing a decisive pass against Milan during the team’s Asian tour. Ngomouha became the youngest player to start a match for Liverpool (16 years and 135 days) last January in a 4-0 victory over Accrington in the FA Cup, but he has yet to appear in the Premier League.

With Liverpool’s attacking changes, including Luis Diaz’s transfer to Bayern Munich and the tragic loss of Diogo Jota in a car accident, the young star may receive more opportunities this season. The reaction towards Chelsea was harsh, with their fans expressing anger over losing a talent like Ngomouha, prompting the club to ban Liverpool scouts from entering.

Rival club fans attacked Chelsea on the ‘X’ platform, with one saying, ‘Chelsea prefers to sign random talents from Brazil instead of keeping Ngomouha… a big mistake.’ Another added, ‘Ngomouha, at 16 years old, is doing this in his debut at Anfield… on his way to the top.’ Ngomouha, for his part, expressed his happiness with the experience, praising the support of Andy Robertson.
