Authorities in Abu Dhabi have dismantled a criminal network of three individuals found with 377kg of crystal meth, as confirmed by police on Thursday, August 21.
The three individuals, all of Asian descent, were apprehended after law enforcement discovered the group concealing the drugs inside sewing machine oil cans.
They attempted to bypass detection systems with what the authorities described as a ‘sophisticated method’.

This operation was a collaborative effort between the Abu Dhabi Police and the National Drug Control Service. Following their arrest, the individuals were handed over to the appropriate authorities.
Police have urged the public to avoid drug involvement and dispel the myth that drug use leads to happiness and comfort. They also highlighted the serious health and safety risks associated with drug abuse.
