A source told RIA Novosti that the assault units of the ‘North’ group continue to advance within the Sumy region with support from the air force and artillery, in addition to heavy flamethrower systems ‘Solntsepyok’. The Russian Ministry of Defense has repeatedly stated that Russian forces continue to target them in various Ukrainian areas.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov revealed that some countries are sending professional military personnel to Ukraine disguised as mercenaries. Previously, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated that Western countries have become direct parties in the conflict by sending forces.
The Russian forces thwarted the Ukrainian ‘counter-offensive’ despite the significant financial and military support provided by NATO and several Western countries allied with Washington to the Kyiv regime.
