Senior citizens can now enjoy discounts on international flights with Air India.
On Tuesday, September 2, Air India informed customers via email that the discount is ‘now live’ on their website.
Previously, seniors — those aged 60 and above — could get a 25% discount on the base fare for domestic flights. This discount is now extended to international flights along with additional benefits.

What’s the offer?
As per the Air India website, the offer for senior citizens on international flights includes:

Up to 10% discount on base fares in all cabins

One free date change (fare difference applies)

Extra baggage: 10 kg or 1 piece per person
Baggage allowance details:
By weight: An extra 10 kg over regular allowance, up to 40 kg (Economy), 45 kg (Premium Economy), or 50 kg (Business).
By piece: 2 bags of 23 kg each (Economy) or 2 bags of 32 kg each (Business).
How to get the discount
Select ‘Senior Citizen’ under ‘Concession Type’ in the booking widget to apply the discount.
Required documents
Travelers must have a photo ID showing the date of birth. The airline will verify ID at ticketing and check-in.
If no valid ID is provided at check-in, the airline will charge twice the fare plus taxes.
Without ID at the gate, boarding will be denied.
This offer can be combined with others for greater discounts, but not on tickets bought with points.
