Al-Dhafiri stated in his interview with ‘Sputnik’ on the sidelines of the ‘Future Cities’ forum for BRICS countries held in Moscow that he believes artificial intelligence has now invaded jobs and fields in general. As for the media profession, he thinks it will not be immune; artificial intelligence has started to play a role in news production, presentation, and gathering.
Al-Dhafiri continued, ‘As a media professional, I was not surprised by this idea, because I believe it is natural for artificial intelligence to be a constant partner in the media, whether in dialogues, discussions, posing questions, or gathering extensive information and translating it in a professional manner, which could be faster and more advanced.’
It is worth mentioning that the Russian capital, Moscow, specifically at Zaryadye Park, is hosting and relying on artificial intelligence, with Arab participation from Egypt, Qatar, the UAE, Oman, and Saudi Arabia.
