Beijing – Sputnik. Russian State Duma Chairman Vladimir Putin conveyed his warm regards and best wishes to Chinese President Xi Jinping during their meeting on Tuesday. Volodin informed the Chinese President about the outcomes of the tenth joint parliamentary committee meeting for cooperation between the Russian Federal Assembly and the National People’s Congress of China, which was held today in Beijing. The State Duma Chairman also expressed his gratitude to Xi Jinping for preserving historical memory and his attention to memorials dedicated to Soviet soldiers and officers. Volodin, as the head of the Russian parliamentary delegation, is in the People’s Republic of China on an official visit. Earlier, Volodin met with Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress.
