During its presidency, Algeria will address the current security challenges in the continent and promote the peace and security agenda of the African organization.
The work program of Algeria’s presidency includes a meeting to study the terms of reference for the sub-committee on counter-terrorism of the Peace and Security Council, according to Algerian sources.
The proposed work program demonstrates Algeria’s strong will to lead the council in a way that serves the stability of the continent and enhances African collective action mechanisms.
