The Lebanese Prime Minister’s Office published a photo on Saturday evening showing Nawaf Salam and his wife hosting Amr Diab at their home. During the home gathering, Nawaf Salam expressed his great appreciation for the Egyptian artist, praising his positive influence on the Lebanese and Arab audience.
The Lebanese Prime Minister said, “Beirut loves you, Amr, and always rejoices at your arrival, because you bring joy to the hearts of its people.” In turn, the Egyptian star expressed his immense happiness at visiting Lebanon again, affirming that Beirut has always held a special place for him, and he holds great appreciation for the Lebanese audience.
Amr Diab noted during the meeting that “Lebanon is his second country,” as he has said on multiple occasions. It is worth mentioning that the meeting between Nawaf and Diab took place before a massive concert performed by the Egyptian star, which was attended by an unprecedented audience.
