Egyptian Zamalek player Amr Nasser is competing against 10 other players for the international award, before his transfer from Pharco Club. Amr Nasser managed to score a fantastic double overhead kick goal last season during the Egypt Capital Cup, which led to FIFA’s website posting videos of all nominated goals, including Nasser’s.
Amr Nasser is competing with global stars, most notably Lamine Yamal, the Spanish Barcelona winger, and Declan Rice, the English Arsenal midfielder, for the international award.
It is worth mentioning that the star and captain of the Egyptian national team, Liverpool winger, had previously won the Puskás Award in 2018 for his goal against Everton in the English Premier League.
