The statement said: “The operation confirms the continued ban on enemy maritime navigation in the Red and Arabian Seas.” It continued: “The Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a military operation targeting the Zionist oil ship (SCARLET RAY) in the northern Red Sea with a ballistic missile.” According to the statement, the ship was directly hit, while “Ansar Allah” affirmed its continued support for the Palestinian people by preventing Zionist or ships heading to the ports of occupied Palestine (Israel). It also confirmed the continuation of military operations until the aggression and blockade on the Gaza Strip cease. Last Saturday, the “Ansar Allah” group announced that they would take revenge on Israel following the airstrike by Israeli aircraft that killed the head of the group’s government, Ahmed Ghalib Al-Rahwi, and its ministers. The leader of the “Ansar Allah” movement in Yemen, Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, stated on Sunday that “Israel targeted a workshop of the Government of Change and Construction last Thursday,” noting that the targeting resulted in the death of a group of ministers and government workers.
