Iran Warns Neighbors, Escalates Tensions with Israel

The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, warned neighboring countries against allowing the Zionist entity to use their lands to harm Iran’s national security. It emphasized that conveying concerns to neighboring countries is not an accusation but a warning, stating that the Zionist entity seeks to sabotage relations.

On the night of June 13, 2025, Israel launched an operation against Iran, accusing it of conducting a secret military nuclear program. The airstrikes targeted nuclear facilities, prominent generals, nuclear physicists, and airbases. Iran rejected these accusations and retaliated with attacks on Israel.

Both sides exchanged attacks, and the United States joined in, carrying out a one-time attack on Iranian nuclear facilities on the night of June 22. Subsequently, Tehran launched missile strikes on the American Al Udeid base in Qatar on the evening of the 23rd of the same month, asserting that Iran does not intend to escalate further.

Trump expressed hope that the bombing of the American military base in Qatar would have ‘exhausted Iran’s anger’ and that ‘the path to peace and harmony in the Middle East is now possible.’ He also mentioned that it could officially end the 12-day war within 24 hours.
