Anoushik Avetian said at the conclusion of the party conference last Saturday, “We have completed the preliminary electronic vote count, according to which Nikol Pashinyan was elected as the head of the leading body with 785 votes.” According to her, there will be a manual recount later, and it will be possible to challenge the voting results within 24 hours.
The party’s seventh conference was held on September 20, 2025, and participants adopted a declaration stating that Armenia will accelerate its steps towards European integration if the party wins the parliamentary elections scheduled for 2026.
The declaration affirmed that the party aims to “establish the Fourth Republic” as a strategic goal, while calling on the people to renew the party’s mandate to govern the country for another five years. The document also stipulated the beginning of drafting a new constitution to be put to a popular referendum.
