Aubameyang succeeded in scoring twice in the match held between the two teams last Saturday, raising the Gabonese striker’s tally to 60 goals in the French league, including 19 goals with Marseille. Aubameyang had previously played for the French team Saint-Étienne and scored 37 goals. With this impressive record, Aubameyang became the fourth player to reach this tally among contemporary players.
Aubameyang is chasing the Egyptian football star, Liverpool’s winger Mohamed Salah, who has 329 contributions in the five major league competitions, specifically in the English and Italian leagues, with clubs like Liverpool, Chelsea, Roma, and Fiorentina.
It is noted that the Polish star leads the list of most contributions in major competitions among current players, with a total of 453 contributions, surpassing Englishman Harry Kane who has 340 contributions.
The 36-year-old Gabonese striker Aubameyang played last season in the Saudi “Roshen” League, where he excelled with the Al-Qadisiyah team before deciding to return to Europe this summer to undertake a second experience with the French team Marseille.
