The cries rose from the stands as the 46-second incident turned into a nightmare for the spectators. The team supervising the show quickly intervened and controlled the bear before the trainer suffered any serious injuries.
The park administration announced in a statement that the condition of the attacked trainer is good and his safety was quickly secured. The park officials stated that, according to safety protocols, the attacking bear has been removed from the shows.
According to preliminary estimates, the attack was likely motivated by the bear’s attraction to the smell of snacks present at the event, causing it to act unexpectedly and out of control during the show.
