Beco Capital Raises $370M for New Funds in UAE, Saudi

Beco Capital announced on Monday the closing of $370 million across two new funds, enhancing Beco’s capacity to support founders from Pre-Seed to IPO, concentrating on the UAE and Saudi Arabia. This includes $120 million for Beco Fund IV, the firm’s fourth early-stage fund, and a $250 million Growth Fund.

Beco Fund IV supports breakthrough companies with a sector-agnostic strategy, centered around key investment areas like construction tech, fintech, proptech, consumer/retail tech, and application software/AI. The fund is led by managing partners Dany Farha, Abdulaziz Shikh Al Sagha, and Yousef Hammad.

Beco Capital is a venture capital firm investing in innovative thinkers building transformative technology companies in the Gulf region. With over $820 million in assets under management, the firm has invested with conviction since 2012, focusing mainly on the UAE and Saudi Arabian markets. Beco has achieved nine exits, including two unicorns, and continues to partner with founders at all growth stages.

“We have dedicated over a decade to partnering with founders at the earliest stages, guiding them through their growth journey,” stated Dany Farha, co-founder and managing partner at Beco Capital. “This fund demonstrates our ongoing belief in the early-stage opportunities in the UAE and Saudi, and our confidence in the region’s founder talent depth.”

Beco’s Growth Fund invests in companies from Series B through pre-IPO, led by General Partner Amer Alaily. The fund typically invests $20 million into both existing Beco portfolio companies and new opportunities.

“Gulf companies are reaching institutional scale but face limited growth capital,” said Alaily. “This fund allows us to collaborate with the most promising companies and support their critical scaling phases toward potential exits.”

With these two funds, Beco offers a comprehensive platform supporting founders from pre-seed to IPO across the Gulf’s key venture markets.
