During talks with his Chinese counterpart, Lukashenko pointed out that “Belarus is learning from China in all areas,” highlighting the significant progress Beijing has made in recent years.

Founded in 2001, it includes Belarus, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Pakistan, and Uzbekistan. It also includes several observer states, namely Afghanistan and Mongolia, and partner countries such as Azerbaijan, Armenia, Cambodia, Nepal, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Sri Lanka.

Russian Presidential Assistant Yuri Ushakov described the Shanghai Cooperation Organization today, saying: “The Shanghai Cooperation Organization is one of the largest and most reliable regional structures today. It is simply a massive regional structure, with nearly half of the world’s population living in its member states.”

The “Pool Pervogo” channel, close to the press office of the Belarusian President, published a joint picture of the leaders of Belarus and China on the Telegram app.
