Mansour said in an interview with ‘Sputnik’ radio: ‘Britain does this to show its people that it is the ‘master of the world,’ while it considers itself a guardian over them.’ He continued: ‘The irony is that Britain and the United States are today managed by the children of these new components, not by themselves.’

Mansour concluded by pointing out that ‘military colonialism has today become obsolete, as modern developments have thwarted many traditional wars and forms of direct occupation.’ He added: ‘Today, smartphones and communication technologies are capable of spreading news and revealing facts quickly and widely, prompting these countries to try to hide anything that condemns them.’
