Charlie Day, the actor and writer, revealed he’s had discussions about a sequel to the comedy hit Horrible Bosses, featuring stars like Jennifer Aniston, Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, and Jamie Foxx, according to People.

Day, now 49, shared his enthusiasm for a new Horrible Bosses installment during a recent event for his latest film, Honey Don’t!

The original movie showcased Day, Bateman, and Sudeikis as friends plotting to eliminate their overbearing bosses — played by Aniston, Kevin Spacey, and Colin Farrell — with assistance from an ex-con portrayed by Jamie Foxx. The sequel, Horrible Bosses 2, introduced Chris Pine and Christoph Waltz.

Aniston echoed the desire for humor-filled films, stating, “Comedy is essential.” Regarding a potential Horrible Bosses 3, she noted, “We’d have a blast finding out where those wild characters are now.”

In a recent video chat, she also reminisced about her character’s brown wig in Horrible Bosses.

“I fought for that wig. It wasn’t easy,” she admitted. “I wanted my character to stand out. The studio, Warner Bros., was worried it wouldn’t look like me. But that was the goal! It might still resemble me a bit, but I’m proud I stood my ground,” reported People.

Aniston returns in her acclaimed role on Apple TV+’s The Morning Show, with its fourth season starting on September 17. ANI
