The event is organized annually by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority and the World Green Economy Organization, serving as a leading global platform to enhance international cooperation and accelerate the transition to a low-carbon economy based on innovation, modern technologies, and cross-border partnerships.
Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Vice Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy and Chairman of the World Green Economy Organization, said: “Under the vision and directives of our wise leadership, Dubai continues its mission to build a more sustainable future through initiatives that have become a prestigious international platform bringing together decision-makers, experts, and innovators from around the world to exchange insights and launch pioneering initiatives and partnerships.”
It is worth noting that the World Green Economy Summit was first launched in 2014 and is held annually in Dubai. The summit has succeeded in rallying global efforts to promote the transition towards a green economy. It has provided a strategic platform to support international cooperation in addressing global challenges, enhancing sustainable development, investing in the green economy, and encouraging the adoption of effective policies, plans, and initiatives in this regard. It also discusses pressing issues, with climate change and global warming at the forefront.
