In the National Capital Region’s Faridabad, police have impounded a red EcoSport with the license plate DL 10 CK 0458, believed to be associated with the main suspect, Dr. Umar Un Nabi, in the Delhi blast investigation. The vehicle was discovered parked near Khandawali village, as confirmed by a police representative.

The Delhi Police had previously issued a warning concerning the vehicle, registered to Umar Un Nabi. Information about the car was circulated among the Uttar Pradesh and Haryana police forces, according to a senior official, as reported by ANI.

Prior to the Delhi explosion, Dr. Umar Nabi, the primary suspect, was reportedly staying at a mosque on Asaf Ali Road near Ramlila Maidan. After departing from the mosque, he proceeded to the Sunehri Masjid parking area and parked the car there around 3:19 p.m. Investigative teams are analyzing Umar’s cellphone records and signal history, ANI sources conveyed.

The Faridabad police have secured the vicinity in Khandawali village where the car was located.

In response to the November 10 car explosion, Delhi Police are actively checking for suspicious vehicles parked in various areas of Kidwai Nagar. ACP Somnath Paruthi stated, “A targeted effort is underway to verify the details of cars parked long-term in lots. We’ve informed parking attendants to notify us about any suspicious individuals or vehicles.”

Delhi Police are also liaising with car dealers to reinforce vehicle verification procedures and compliance following the explosion.

Paruthi added, “Post-incident, we are engaging with car dealers to ensure adherence to registration norms and verify car owners’ identities. Dealers have been instructed to scrutinize buyers and report any suspicious activities.”

Meanwhile, in Jammu and Kashmir’s Handwara and Langate, candlelight vigils have been organized to denounce the Delhi car blast.
