The ministry clarified in the statement that “the National Center for Onboard Drone Systems has come into service, according to the provisions of Presidential Decree No. 21-285, which defines the general framework for operating these systems.” The ministry warned citizens who own these drones that they must declare them at the center, emphasizing that the last date for declaration is April 30, 2026, according to “Al-Nahar” newspaper from Algeria.
The Algerian Ministry of Defense explained that the declaration is done by heading to the “National Drone Center,” after booking an appointment in advance, and presenting the required documents.
