Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has been entrusted with the licensing and regulation of all tourist transport operations across the emirate, as per a new Executive Regulation.
This authority will be responsible for issuing and renewing permits for tourist transport companies, registering and renewing tourist vehicles, and providing professional licenses for drivers, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards through designated service channels and centers.
The regulation seeks to establish a cohesive tourist transport system, elevate service quality, and enhance safety and comfort for visitors.
