As students prepare for their return to school, Dubai’s private education sector is set to introduce 25 new institutions in the 2025-2026 academic year.

The new establishments include 16 early childhood centers (ECCs), six schools, and three international universities. This expansion will add 11,700 seats in schools and universities, while welcoming over 2,400 young learners, offering families more educational choices and strengthening Dubai’s reputation as a global education hub.

The new schools feature five UK curriculum options: GEMS School of Research and Innovation in Sports City, Victory Heights Primary School in City of Arabia, Dubai British School Mira, Dubai English Speaking School in Academic City, and Al Fanar School in Nad Al Sheba, along with Lycée Français International School in Mudon offering a French curriculum.

Consult the Khaleej Times report for a comprehensive admission guide to the six new schools.

The new ECCs will present diverse curriculum choices to meet the growing demand for early education in Dubai. Eleven centers will follow the UK’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), three will use the Creative Curriculum, one will adopt the Montessori method, and another will implement the Maple Bear curriculum.

Higher education options will broaden with the introduction of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) with its globally ranked Business and Management program, the American University of Beirut from Lebanon, and Fakeeh College for Medical Sciences from Saudi Arabia.

Currently, Dubai’s private education sector includes 331 early childhood centers, 233 schools, and 44 higher education institutions.

Aisha Miran, Director General of KHDA, stated, “Dubai’s private education sector keeps expanding in size, quality, and variety. The new schools, ECCs, and international universities launching this year reflect strong investor confidence in our city and align with the Education 33 Strategy (E33) to ensure high-quality education for every learner.”
