In an interview with ‘Sputnik’ on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum, Peskov stated, ‘The only thing we are convinced of is that the vast majority of the world’s countries do not want a unipolar world, do not want anyone to dictate rules to them, and do not want to coexist according to rules, but according to law.’ Peskov further mentioned in an earlier interview with ‘Sputnik’ today, during the Eastern Economic Forum, that the world is undergoing a period of transformation, where the entire system of international, legal, and economic relations is being changed. ‘This is one of the very important initiatives emerging during this transitional period we are experiencing, at a time when the entire system of international relations, international economic relations, and international legal relations is already being altered, but we do not yet know exactly which direction it will take.’ The 10th Eastern Economic Forum is being held from September 3 to 6 in Vladivostok at the Far Eastern Federal University campus.
