Al-Ahram reported on Wednesday evening that Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has approved the implementation of the second package of tax facilities. Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly indicated that the state is in the process of updating the “State Ownership Document” before the end of its scheduled timeframe. He noted that the “4th International Defense Industries Exhibition, EDEX 2025,” has achieved an advanced status among similar global exhibitions.

Mostafa Madbouly’s statements came during a press conference following the weekly meeting of the Egyptian government, where he reviewed the week’s achievements, including President El-Sisi’s inauguration of an exhibition.

Madbouly emphasized on Tuesday the Egyptian government’s commitment to following up on the procedures for updating the “State Ownership Policy Document,” which contributes to continuing efforts to maximize the role of the private sector as a key partner in achieving sustainable economic growth, providing more job opportunities, and enhancing competitiveness regionally and internationally.

This was during a Prime Minister’s meeting to follow up on developments regarding the update of the “State Ownership Policy Document” and to review the organizational structure of the state-owned companies’ restructuring unit, attended by Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning and Economic Development and International Cooperation, Engineer Hassan El-Khatib, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, and several concerned officials.
