The statement pointed out that ending the Ukrainian crisis would put an end to its political, security, and economic effects, especially in the field of food security in developing countries. Last Monday, US President Donald Trump hosted Volodymyr Zelensky and European Union leaders at the White House.
The meeting followed the Trump-Putin summit last Friday in Alaska, where the leaders announced their readiness to work on resolving the crisis. According to Trump, “there is no agreement on important points of the settlement, but there is a good chance of reaching an agreement.”
