On Wednesday, Democrats unveiled emails where Jeffrey Epstein suggested Donald Trump was more aware of Epstein’s sexual abuse than he admitted. Epstein mentioned that Trump had “spent hours at my house” with one of his victims.
Trump has consistently denied any connection to or awareness of Epstein’s sex-trafficking operations. Epstein died by suicide in federal prison in 2019 while awaiting trial.
However, Democrats on the House Oversight Committee stated that these emails “raise serious questions about Donald Trump’s knowledge of Epstein’s crimes.”
