Washington – Sputnik. Erdogan said in an interview with the American channel ‘Fox News’. He noted that he is in contact with President Trump and his team regarding developments in the region, especially the Gaza and Syria crises.
On the other hand, Erdogan said during his speech at the United Nations that “a ceasefire must now be declared, and humanitarian aid must be allowed into Gaza without obstacles. Expansionist ambitions in the region can never be allowed.”
Erdogan is scheduled to attend the United Nations General Assembly meetings before meeting with Trump at the White House next Thursday. Trump said he expects to conclude trade and military deals during the visit.
