Cairo – Sputnik. Anis Al-Subhi, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health in the “Ansar Allah” government, stated on “X” that “the number of victims of the Zionist aggression on the Hizziz power station and the oil company station on Sixty Street in Sanaa has increased in a final toll.” This comes a day after Israeli fighters carried out 13 airstrikes on Sanaa, distributed as follows: 4 strikes on the oil company station on Sixty Street southwest of Sanaa, 4 more strikes on the Al-Nahdain camp in the presidential compound south of Sanaa, three strikes on the Hizziz power station in the Sanhan district south of Sanaa, and two strikes on a gas tank on Algeria Street south of Sanaa, according to a source for “Sputnik.” Last Sunday, Israel conducted an aerial bombardment on the Hizziz power station south of Sanaa, causing extensive damage and rendering it out of service. “Ansar Allah” had announced on July 28th a ramp-up of its attacks on Israel, starting the fourth phase of the “naval blockade on Israel,” vowing to target ships belonging to any company dealing with Israeli ports regardless of their nationality and wherever the group’s forces could reach, in response to the ongoing operations of the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip. At the end of last July, “Ansar Allah” leader Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi revealed the launch of 1,679 missiles and drones, and a warboat on Israel and ships linked with it, the US, and the UK since November 2023. The “Ansar Allah” group has been launching attacks on Israel and ships linked to it, the United States, and Britain in the Red Sea since November 2023; in response to the Israeli war in Gaza. Since Tel Aviv resumed its military operations in the Gaza Strip last March 18th, the “Ansar Allah” group in Yemen intensified its attacks on Israel and ships linked to it, the United States, and Britain, prompting US forces to carry out hundreds of airstrikes on the group’s sites in Yemen until the group and Washington reached a ceasefire agreement on May 6th. However, “Ansar Allah” confirmed that the agreement does not include operations against Israel.
