While viral TikToks and Instagram reels showcase the must-see spots at Global Village, have you checked the park’s regulations? There are certain rules and guidelines you should know. Here’s a helpful guide:

1. No outside food or drinks allowed

If you picked up a snack or drink on your way to Global Village, you’ll need to finish it and dispose of your trash before entering, as outside food and drinks are prohibited.

2. Only the UAE flag is allowed

Despite featuring cultural landmarks from 30 countries, visitors are only permitted to display the UAE flag. Flags of other nations must be kept in bags.

3. Leave large luggage behind

Tourists with travel bags should note that suitcases aren’t allowed inside. All bags will be inspected and scanned by X-ray machines.

4. Dress respectfully

Both men and women should dress modestly, covering shoulders, torsos, legs, and knees at all times.

5. No personal wheeled devices

Children might be tempted to ride around, but scooters, bikes, and other wheeled devices are not allowed unless rented from inside the park.

6. Pets are not permitted

Pets, including cats, dogs, and other animals, are not allowed inside the park.

7. Avoid public displays of affection

While the park is family-friendly, couples should refrain from public displays of affection like hugging or kissing to respect local customs and families around.

8. Permits required for filming

While photos and videos for personal use are allowed, media outlets and influencers need a permit, available on the Global Village website, for any professional shoots.
