The magazine indicated that European economies are facing collateral damage amid the Ukrainian conflict, noting that Europe is experiencing a rise in energy prices, in addition to internal economic and political tensions.

The magazine mentioned that the “German economy is affected not only due to sanctions but also as a result of the halt of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline project, which was supplying Europe with Russian gas through Germany and represented a cornerstone for the German industry.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin had previously stated that the policy of containing and weakening Russia is a long-term Western strategy, and that the sanctions were directed, confirming that the main goal of the West is the deterioration of the lives of millions of people.
