Consequently, many are opting for night swimming at beaches, enjoying cooler and more pleasant conditions after sunset. Night beaches offer a refreshing escape, allowing residents and tourists to enjoy the sea under the stars.

Abu Dhabi
The Abu Dhabi Corniche beach is now open for night swimming, giving residents a reason to enjoy the outdoors well after sunset.
The beach is well-lit and features lifeguards on duty, first-aid services, and sports courts for volleyball, football, and basketball, combining safety with leisure.
The Corniche Night Beach operates from 6am to 10pm on weekdays and until midnight on weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
The Marsana Night Beach in Abu Dhabi allows visitors to swim under the moon with lifeguard supervision, offering cozy loungers and dining options.
The night swimming season started on July 1 and will continue until September 30. On weekdays, swimming is allowed from sunset until 10pm, and from Friday to Sunday, the beach is open from sunset until midnight.
Access to the beach requires a fee, varying by day, and is free for children under six.
Dubai
Dubai offers night swimming at three beaches—Jumeirah 2, Jumeirah 3, and Umm Suqeim 1—highlighting the city’s year-round appeal to visitors.
These beaches, spanning about 800m collectively, have attracted around 1.5 million visitors since opening in May 2023, according to WAM. Entry is free.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, these beaches have LED lighting towers and electronic safety screens.
Qualified lifeguards are present around the clock, equipped with rescue and first-aid tools, monitoring activities from sunrise to sunset.
Promoting inclusivity, dedicated night swimming areas are available for people of determination and seniors, with tailored services for an exceptional experience.
