The club confirmed on its website that Eze, who will wear the number 10 jersey, has signed a long-term contract, becoming the latest addition to coach Mikel Arteta’s squad. Eze’s joining follows his impressive performance with Crystal Palace last season, where he caught the attention of several major clubs competing for his services.

The English club officially announced last July that young Egyptian left-back Cameron Ismail signed his first professional contract with the club. Cameron Ismail, 18 years old, expressed his pride and honor in signing his first professional contract in his football career with Arsenal, describing this step as “a dream come true after a long wait.”

With this step, Cameron Ismail joins the list of Egyptian players in the Premier League, led by Mohamed Salah, Liverpool’s star, and Omar Marmoush, Manchester City’s forward. He added, “I grew up in Islington, where I always see Arsenal fans and hear the team’s chants,” noting that Cameron Ismail was born and raised in the ‘Islington’ neighborhood, near the ‘Emirates’ Stadium in London.

He joined Arsenal’s academy in 2021, progressing through the youth ranks until earning his first professional opportunity. Ismail was called up to Egypt’s under-20 national team, although he has not yet played any official matches for the Pharaohs. Ismail was a regular starter for Arsenal’s under-18 team, playing in 16 matches in the Premier League for this category last season, and also participated in several matches with the under-21 team in the English second division.
