In the daily statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense, it was stated that “as a result of the decisive combat operations carried out by the units of the ‘Vostok’ (East) group, the town of Zaporozhskoye in the Dnipropetrovsk region has been liberated.” The Russian Defense report confirmed that “units of the ‘Zapad’ (West) forces have taken more advantageous lines and positions.
Formations from two mechanized assault brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and a regional defense brigade were targeted in the towns of Kupiansk, Blahodatovka, Olgovka, and Borovskaya Andreevka in the Kharkiv region, and in Drobyshevo in the Donetsk People’s Republic.”
The ministry clarified that “enemy losses amounted to 215 military personnel, six armored combat vehicles, including four Western-made, 15 cars, and four field artillery pieces, including a British-made FH-70 155mm howitzer.
Additionally, six electronic warfare stations and three ammunition depots were destroyed.”
