The alert level was raised to the third degree shortly after the fire broke out on the building’s external scaffolding located on Connaught Central Road around 4:30 PM, according to local media. Four people were injured, including a man trapped in an elevator. A man with head injuries and two men and a woman suffering from smoke inhalation were taken to the hospital. Reports indicated that two men remain in critical condition due to breathing difficulties, while the other two individuals are in stable condition. According to media sources, the fire was partially contained by 5:46 PM, fully controlled by 7 PM, and completely extinguished by 9:13 PM.
