This weekend, one of the UAE’s most esteemed endurance athletes, Ghani Souleymane, will conclude a journey that started 100 days ago at Kite Beach with a single swim stroke, embodying the spirit of the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC).
On Sunday, 16 November, Ghani will finish his 100th consecutive 100km triathlon. After setting a Guinness World Record with 80 triathlons last month, he pressed on to complete a full century—2km swim, 80km bike, and 18km run every day, amassing an incredible 10,000km.
The final triathlon occurs at the Dubai T100 Triathlon in Meydan, marking the culmination of his remarkable journey before thousands of athletes and spectators. Starting on 8 August at Kite Beach—now hosting the DP World 30×30 Fitness Village during DFC—Ghani’s endeavor has captivated Dubai’s fitness community throughout the season.

His achievement offers a powerful source of inspiration during DFC 2025, illustrating that extraordinary goals are achievable with daily dedication and community support. Ghani’s final triathlon happens at a significant time, aligning with both DFC 2025 and the Dubai T100 Triathlon (13-16 November), part of the global T100 Triathlon World Tour.
The event gathers elite racers and community participants, reinforcing Dubai’s status as a top destination for endurance sports. Beyond athletic triumph, Ghani’s challenge raises funds for children affected by conflict, showcasing fitness as a positive force—a key principle of the Dubai Fitness Challenge since 2017.
“This weekend, I will finish my 100th T100 Triathlon, joining thousands from Dubai and worldwide at the T100 Race village and making history,” said Souleymane.
“My goal from the start has been to inspire others and demonstrate the impact of sport in uniting people. What I admire about the Dubai Fitness Challenge is its ability to bring together diverse groups—running clubs, cycling teams, families, and novices.
The accessibility of DFC is what I appreciate most—just 30 minutes a day for 30 days—yet its transformative power when embraced collectively. This challenge isn’t about elite performance; it’s about motivating everyone in Dubai, regardless of age or fitness level, to move, connect, and lead healthier lives. Completing my T100×100 this month is more than a personal milestone; it’s a testament to what’s possible with community support. That’s the essence of DFC, and I’m proud to be involved.
“I look forward to completing my T100 × 100 challenge during the Dubai Fitness Challenge. It’s been a long, challenging journey, but the city’s energy—especially during DFC—has fueled my persistence.”
Ghani’s achievement embodies the ‘Find Your Challenge’ theme of DFC 2025—whether it’s 100 consecutive triathlons or 30 minutes of daily activity, power lies in consistency and community support.
The Dubai T100 Triathlon is one of several premier sporting events during DFC 2025, alongside Dubai Premier Padel P1 (9-16 November), the DP World Tour Championship (13-16 November), and the Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens (28-30 November).
Throughout November, Dubai becomes a month-long celebration of movement, wellness, and community. Running from 1 to 30 November, DFC 2025 encourages everyone to engage in 30 minutes of daily activity for 30 days, offering three free Fitness Villages, 30 Community Fitness Hubs, four flagship mass-participation events, and thousands of free classes and activities citywide.
