The Gymnastika Solo Cup, a premier global gymnastics competition, welcomed over 790 athletes from around the world, including Olympic medalists and world champions like Liubou Charkashyna, Eva Brezalieva, Carol Michelotti, Elisa Maria Comignani, and Amalia Lică, at the Al Nasr Sports Complex from October 22–27.

This was the first significant championship held here since the UAE Gymnastics Federation was established.

The tournament concluded with 40 podium finishes, with 11 gold medals won by young gymnasts from UAE clubs. Notably, the youngest winner was just four years old, highlighting the promising talent among UAE’s emerging athletes.

The event received support from the Dubai Sports Council and the Sports for All Federation, reflecting the national dedication to nurturing youth and women’s sports.

Anastasiya Zakreuskaya, Founder & CEO of Gymnastika UAE and an FIG-certified coach and judge, stated, “In Dubai, rhythmic gymnastics has expanded from one club to about 60 in five years. By hosting such prestigious tournaments, we aim to foster confidence and character in the next generation of female athletes, supporting their talent and promoting international friendships.”

Hessa Al Kous, Head of Women in Sports at the Dubai Sports Council, remarked, “The creation of the UAE Gymnastics Federation is a proud achievement for us. It aligns with our national vision to empower youth and provide world-class hospitality to athletes and fans globally. This tournament demonstrated our commitment to promoting inclusive, community-focused sporting excellence.”
