Young athletes from Heroes of Hope, the UAE’s dedicated sports academy for individuals of determination, infused creativity and vibrancy into the DP World Tour Championship by completing a stunning mural at the Earth Lounge, Jumeirah Golf Estates.
Before the tournament kicks off on Thursday, athletes Noah Evans, Thomas O’Brien, and Marwan Al Khaja collaborated with local abstract artist Rabab Tantawy to finalize the lively artwork gracing the Earth Lounge’s exterior near the 16th green.
Renowned for her fusion of traditional mediums like oil paint with modern techniques such as spray art, Tantawy’s mural offers a refreshing new aesthetic as the DP World Tour Championship gears up to crown its 2025 victor from November 13–16.
The painting session was a poignant experience for these young athletes, who have been taking golf lessons at the Tommy Fleetwood Academy through a partnership with the DP World Tour and Heroes of Hope, aimed at offering people of determination the chance to engage with golf both on and off the course.
This week, Heroes of Hope participants will enjoy their final lesson from one of the tournament’s prominent Race to Dubai players, concluding their coaching journey in an unforgettable championship setting.
Noah, a Year 7 student at Dubai Heights Academy, shared: “I’ve been playing golf for about three years. I play with my father, and we often visit various Par 3 courses in Dubai whenever possible.”
His father, Tom, added: “He enjoys athletics, swimming, cycling, and fitness. He’s proud of completing a triathlon this year and loves drawing, storytelling, and hopes to write a book someday. Golf is particularly enjoyable for Noah.”
“It significantly boosts his confidence, especially in hand-eye coordination, and keeps him calm and relaxed. He’s a very social young man.
