IAN, the fully owned renewable energy division of AG Holding, a leading UAE-based Holding Company and family office, has secured a strategic distribution partnership with DMEGC Solar from China (SZ: DMEGC). This agreement marks DMEGC’s inaugural venture into the GCC region, targeting the substantial Dh24 billion (USD6.53 billion) Solar PV market.

DMEGC Solar stands as a global leader in high-efficiency solar panel production and supply within the renewable energy sector, recognized as a Bloomberg Tier 1 PV module manufacturer and ranked among PVTECH’s global Top 10 module suppliers. The company is committed to delivering comprehensive photovoltaic solutions worldwide, catering to residential, commercial, and large-scale utility needs.

The partnership was formalized in a signing ceremony held in Dubai, attended by Abdulrahman Al Baidhaei, chairman of AG Holding representing IAN, and Leon Lu, General Manager of Global Sales at DMEGC Solar. This agreement appoints IAN as the exclusive distributor of DMEGC Solar products throughout the Gulf region.

With operations based in Dubai, IAN will offer DMEGC Solar’s premium solar solutions across the UAE and neighboring Gulf markets. This collaboration enhances IAN’s expanding renewable energy trading portfolio, as the company already represents various leading global brands in the region.

“We are honored to include DMEGC Solar in our portfolio and to be their exclusive representative in the GCC,” stated Abdulrahman Al Baidhaei, chairman of AG Holding. “This partnership underlines our dedication to promoting clean energy and delivering top-tier technologies to our clients.”

Leon Lu, general manager of Global Sales at DMEGC Solar, remarked: “Our partnership with IAN signifies a pivotal moment as we venture into the GCC market for the first time. IAN’s solid presence and expertise in the regional renewable energy market make them an ideal partner for our growth.”

This agreement highlights the mutual commitment of both companies to advance sustainable energy development across the Gulf.
