As the UAE marks its National Day, we also celebrate an inspiring partnership story: the growing alliance between India and the UAE. This relationship, founded on mutual trust, shared economic goals, and cultural warmth, has soared to new heights with the India-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).

CEPA has sparked fresh vigor in bilateral trade, driving entrepreneurship, enhancing manufacturing, and promoting cross-border investments across various sectors. Indian enterprises now see the UAE as a crucial global expansion hub, while UAE investors increasingly view India’s innovative landscape as a significant growth engine. This seamless economic connection has created opportunities for SMEs, startups, and large corporations alike, generating jobs, improving competitiveness, and fostering shared prosperity.

Looking forward, our nations are deepening collaborations in industries set to shape the next decade. Renewable energy remains a key focus, with joint projects in green hydrogen, solar technologies, and sustainable urban development. Equally vibrant is the rise in digital innovation. From fintech and AI to healthtech, smart manufacturing, and deep-tech solutions, the India-UAE corridor thrives on progressive regulation and a dynamic startup ecosystem, allowing both nations to not only adapt to these changes but also co-create them.

At the core of this growing synergy is IBPC Dubai. For 22 years, we’ve championed the Indo-UAE economic partnership by offering a credible, collaborative platform for dialogue and engagement. In 2025, our strategic calendar has furthered this mission with impactful events designed to promote knowledge exchange, investment exploration, and sectoral collaboration.

Highlights included the AI Summit at Dubai Chambers, a landmark event focusing on artificial intelligence and its role in bilateral innovation. The recent Youth Conclave celebrated future leaders shaping the India-UAE narrative. Our Sectoral Symposium on the Steel & Alloy Industry, attended by Shri H. D. Kumaraswamy, provided vital insights into manufacturing and infrastructure opportunities.

The India Dialogue series featured strong engagements, such as A Conversation with the Reserve Bank of India and a special session with Shri Chirag Paswan, Union Minister for Food Processing Industries, paving the way for regulatory clarity and investment cooperation. The Capital Connect Series facilitated direct interactions between businesses and top regional investors, while our 22nd Anniversary Celebration with Ram Nath Kovind, former President of India, marked a historic milestone.

IBPC Dubai’s initiatives are significantly bolstered by Emirati leadership and support. Dr Tayeb Kamali, Global Chairman – UAE & Gulf, IOD India, enriched the Masterclass with IOD, sharing valuable insights on governance and corporate excellence. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade, welcomed the IBPC Steering Committee during its visit, strengthening governmental collaboration and trade facilitation. Additionally, continuous support from Dubai Chambers has been crucial in amplifying the reach and impact of our initiatives, enabling IBPC Dubai to connect Indian businesses with the UAE market.

In 2025, IBPC Dubai achieved a milestone with its first-ever Certified Corporate Director Masterclass, in collaboration with the Institute of Directors (IOD). It also hosted the CII Partnership Summit Roadshow – Dubai, bringing together industry leaders and policymakers to explore innovation, governance, and the future of investment in Andhra Pradesh.

The year also featured high-level meetings with delegations led by Chief Ministers, including Mohan Yadav of Madhya Pradesh and N. Chandrababu Naidu of Andhra Pradesh, strengthening governmental ties and opening new avenues for investment, trade, and collaboration between India and the UAE.

Cultural and community events like India’s Independence Day, Republic Day, International Women’s Day, and the annual Corporate Quiz have strengthened people-to-people links, the true foundation of this extraordinary partnership.

Looking ahead, IBPC Dubai remains dedicated to empowering businesses, fostering collaboration, and shaping sustainable global growth. Today, India and the UAE are not just trading partners; they are global partners in progress, building futures together.
