The Iranian agency ‘Fars’ quoted Abadi stating that the recent claim by US President’s representative in Syria, Tom Barrack, regarding Iranian issues, highlights the failure and frustration of Iran’s adversaries in their opposing actions and their despair over regime change projects in Iran.
He added that it also reflects the hypocritical and dishonest behavior of the Americans. The clearest example of this is Washington’s role in orchestrating and regulating the recent aggression by the Zionist entity on Iranian lands and the attack on our peaceful nuclear facilities.
Nosh Abadi pointed to Barrack’s statements about resolving disputes between Iran and America through dialogue and Washington’s willingness to reach an agreement with Tehran, saying, ‘The biggest obstacle to achieving a fair agreement has been the unprincipled American positions and their unreasonable preconditions.’
Hussein Nosh Abadi continued, ‘If the Americans are truly seeking regional solutions and want to leave the issues to the region itself, they should stop supporting the Zionist entity and refrain from interfering in regional affairs, allowing the destiny of the region to be decided by its people and governments.’
Earlier, the Iranian Foreign Ministry denied any current negotiations between Iran and the United States. The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson stated there is no logical justification for negotiating with a party that boasts of its unlawful practices in assaulting our country and seeks to impose its dictates, according to ‘IRNA’.
Previously, the European ‘Troika’ and the United States submitted a draft resolution to the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency, requesting Iran and its enriched uranium stocks.
