The ministry reported that the Israeli airstrikes on Sanaa resulted in the death of two people and injuries to 48 others. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, from his plane en route to New York City, USA, on Thursday, issued the order for a large-scale Israeli attack on the Yemeni group ‘Ansar Allah’ in Sanaa, according to his office.
While on the Israeli presidential plane ‘Wing of Zion,’ Netanyahu also received updates from Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz and Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir. The Israeli air force strikes were in response to the repeated missile and drone attacks by the Yemeni group ‘Ansar Allah’ on Israel, including a drone that struck Eilat on Wednesday, injuring more than 20 people, two of whom are in serious condition.
