In his speech at a conference on cybersecurity, Aqmiri stated, “Three major attacks were launched on the country’s infrastructure recently, but they were contained and neutralized thanks to the vigilance of the concerned authorities.” He pointed out that “preventing security vulnerabilities is one of the most important issues in the field of cybersecurity,” noting that “the National Center for Cyber Space issued a directive in 2023 aimed at strengthening defenses,” according to Iran’s Tasnim News Agency.
Aqmiri added that “thanks to the efforts of the Cyber Security Police in Iran, a program has been launched to enable cybersecurity specialists in the private sector to identify and address weaknesses before attackers strike, thereby enhancing national cyber resilience.”
