The full interview is scheduled to be published tomorrow, Sunday, according to Iranian news agency ‘IRNA.’ Araqchi praised his meeting with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, confirming the positive results of the talks. He pointed out that the discussions addressed Iranian-Qatari relations and also touched upon the misunderstanding arising from Iran’s response to the American strike, which included an attack on the Al-Udeid base in Qatar.
Araqchi added that his discussions with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, were fruitful and of great benefit. The meetings covered issues related to regional stability, the importance of renewing dialogue between neighboring countries, and joint efforts to counter the expansionist ambitions and aggression of the Israeli regime.
He confirmed that the Iranian nuclear program was among the most prominent topics discussed in depth during the meetings, noting that Qatar has consistently maintained a constructive stance on this issue. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi told the Qatari newspaper: ‘Thank God, there is no disagreement between the two countries, and the misunderstanding that occurred between us was completely resolved after this visit,’ according to the Iranian news agency ‘Fars.’
